The police have closed the largest casino in Kabardino-Balkaria. The casino belonged to a former government member of Kabardino-Balkaria. The police did not reveal his name, ITAR-TASS cites the police as saying today.
The illegal casino was called San-City and had been actively operating at the State Concert Hall since 2008. The casino was open to privileged members.
The source said that the operation was held last night. The owners of the casino were in a hurry to take the slot machines apart, remove the gaming tables, hide the chips and gambling equipment. Six poker tables, roulettes and club cards were confiscated.
