The prime minister of Russia Vladimir Putin has no doubts that the set of documents on the Common Economic Space between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will be ratified by July 1, as it was planned, RIA Novosti reports.
Moreover, the countries-members of the Customs Union agreed on security of the inner market concerning import of foreign automobiles, Putin said.
Traffic fees on foreign automobiles remains of the greatest importance within the Customs Union. The members should unify their fees. Minsk disagreed to enhance traffic fees in Belarus to the Russian level. Lowering of fees in Russia could lead to foreign car import in RF and could damage Russian car industry.
Putin also stated that Russia welcomes Ukraine to join the Customs Union. The decision on it should be made by the population, the parliament and the president of Ukraine.
