Russia has equipped state borders in the North Caucasus, the vice-premier of Russia Sergey Ivanov stated.
There were no borders in the North Caucasus since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Ivanov said, RIA Novosti reports.
The financing of the federal target program on equipping of the state border for 2003-2010 has been prolonged to 2011.
