Police in Dagestan detained a suspected militant on Wednesday, a police source told RIA Novosti.
Ali Magomedov, born in 1980, was detained in the village of Karatyube in Tsuntinsky District, on the territory of the Babayurtovsky District. He is suspected to have been a member of the Kizlyar group since April 2010. The group was headed by Pakhrudin Gajiyev, who died in the village of Novo-Kokhanovka in the Kizlyarsky District on April 21.
