Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has wished Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev success at the coming presidential elections and expressed hope for improving bilateral contacts, RIA Novosti reports.
Kazakhstan will hold early elections on April 3.
Russia will continue improving ties with Kazakhstan as a strategic partner, Medvedev said at a meeting with Nazarbayev.
The Russian president said that he will have approximately 10 unilateral and multilateral summits this year.
