Azerbaijan will cooperate with the Ukrainian military-industrial complex

Defense Minister of Ukraine Mikhail Yezhel held today a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade and Minister of Defence Safar Abiyev. The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation,  1news.az reports with reference to Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

"The talks with the leadership of the Azerbaijan Republic have been fruitful,” said Mikhail Yezhel. “First of all, we discussed issues concerning military cooperation between the armed forces of our countries, as well as the modernization of weapons and military equipment."

According to him, Azerbaijan expressed interest in the repair and modernization of the military-industrial complex military equipment production of Soviet times at the Ukrainian factories.
