Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan touched upon the activation of Armenian-Georgian visits and contacts at a meeting with Georgian Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili, News Armenia cites the president’s press-service.
Sargsyan reminded about the importance of the visit of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to Armenia.
Nikolaishvili informed Sargsyan about fruitful talks with Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication. The sides agreed on free freighting, regardless of natural and climatic factors and complications in restoring the road to the Verkhny crossing point, construction of the North-South road and exchange of experience in constructing and reconstructing roads.
Nikolaishvili and his delegation arrived in Yerevan to sign a memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation in transport infrastructure.
