Libya halts military actions in response to UN resolution

Libya declared an immediate ceasefire on Friday in response to a UN Security Council resolution authorizing military operations against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, RIA Novosti reports.
The UN Security Council voted on Thursday in favour of a no-fly zone to prevent the shooting of protestors and casualties amongst civilians.
Libyan Foreign Minister Mussa Kussa said that all military actions on the territory of the country have ceased. The details of this one-sided cease-fire are still unknown.
