The meeting of the head of Armenian Apostle church, Catholicos of All-Armenians Garegin ll and the Grand Mufti of the Caucasus, Allahshukur Pashazade may meet in November 2011 in Echmiadzin, News.am reports.
According to the chief of department for ties between churches of Echmiadzin, bishop Ovakim Manukyan, the session of the interreligious council of the CIS countries, co-chaired by Pashazade, will be held at the religious center of the Armenian church in Echmiadzin on 28-30 November. He did not rule out that the two religious leaders may meet within the event.
Earlier, during a meeting with Vladikavkaz Azerbaijani residents Grand Mufti of the Caucasus said that he considers the meeting with the Armenian Catholicos possible.
