Medvedev meets with U.S. Secretary of Defense

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev receives tonight the U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. The meeting takes place in the President's residence in Gorki  in Moscow region, RIA Novosti reports.

The participants of the meeting include Russian  Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko and  the deputy Pentagon chief Alexander Vershbow on the American side.
