The 76th seminar of NATO Rose-Roth was opened in Tbilisi today. It is devoted to the theme “the Caucasus in the global view: Georgian prospects and international rates.“ Delegations from 20 countries participate in the forum, Trend reports.
The president of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO Karl Lamersom stated that this year he saw a new Georgia which succeeded in many spheres. He said that it is obvious that the country strives for democracy and struggles against corruption. The Parliamentary Assembly welcomes Georgian efforts to enter the alliance. However, some problems still remain. He meant the situation involving South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
