Kazakhstan acknowledges Iran's right to peaceful nuclear program

The Speaker of the the Kazakh Senate has supported Iran's right to develop its nuclear program within the bounds of international legislation.

Each state possesses the right to develop its nuclear program within the bounds of international law and under the oversight of the IAEA, Speaker Kasymzhomart Tokayev said during a meeting with the special aide to the Iranian foreign minister, reports a VK correspondent in Kazakhstan, with reference to the press service of the Kazakh Senate.

"The speaker believes that Iran plays a crucial role in moulding regional and international security," the press service reports.
