Karachay-Cherkessia has concluded two tourism exhibitions – Intourmarket and MITT in Moscow on March 12-19, Yuga.ru reports.
Karachay-Cherkessia was represented as one of the most prospect tourism areas in Russia at the Intourmarket 2011.
Karachay-Cherkessia signed an agreement on cooperation in tourism in the North Caucasian Federal District. The document opens opportunities for better cooperation between regions in establishing a resort cluster in Russia. It also promotes good neighbor relations in the Caucasus.
The delegation of Karachay-Cherkessia achieved preliminary agreements on strategic partnership with SAMO-Soft, developer of automatic systems for international tourism. The republic will become the first Russian region using the system. It will unite tourism networks in the Caucasus using the so-called Andromeda system.
