Nazran protesters get five days in jail

Five of ten detained participants in an unsanctioned rally in Nazran on March 23 have received five days behind bars, YuGA.ru reports.

About 100 people blocked a street in Nazran, demanding the return of abducted persons. Participants of the rally - relatives of abducted persons in Ingushetia – held banners saying  "We are against terror" and "Bring our sons back".

Opposition leader and human rights activist Magomed Khazbiev was detained on suspicion of organizing the rally. Apart from him, the police of Ingushetia detained nine other people.
