The long-term regional target program "Energy saving and energy efficiency in the Krasnodar Territory in 2011-2020" was approved by the governor of the region, Alexander Tkachev, YuGA.ru reports.
The total volume of investment program will be 167.2 billion rubles, it is expected that its implementation will reduce the energy demands of gross regional product by 11.6%.
The program provides for the modernization and reconstruction of electricity, heating and water systems, energy saving in housing funds, renewable energy development and introduction of energy efficiency in industry, agriculture, resort sphere and transport.
