Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze has met his counterpart in Portugal, Luis Filipe Marques Amado.
The sides talked about bilateral and multilateral cooperation, relations between Georgia and the European Union, Georgia and NATO, the situation around Georgia’s occupied territories and events in the South Caucasus, Trend cites the Georgian Foreign Ministry as saying.
The sides held a joint press conference on the topics.
Vashadze said that Georgia is interested in Portugal's support on its way to joining NATO.
