Iranian and Afghan foreign ministers review issues of mutual interest

On Sunday in Tehran the Iranian and Afghan foreign ministers reviewed issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments, Trend cites IRNA.

Iran's Ali Akbar Salehi and his Afghan counterpart Zalmay Rassoul met and conferred on the threshold of the 2nd international Nowrouz celebrations.

Underlining the importance of the establishment of stability, security and calm in neighbouring Afghanistan, Salehi emphasised that the Afghan people are capable of governing their own country without the presence of foreign forces.
