Turkish President Abdullah Gul ratified the agreement on strategic partnership with Azerbaijan on Friday, CNN Turk reports.
The Turkish parliament ratified the document in early March.
The agreement on strategic partnership and mutual support was signed between Turkey and Azerbaijan on August 16, 2010. The Azerbaijani parliament ratified the document on December 22, 2010. The Turkish parliament commission for foreign links prepared the document the package of laws for the document on February 17. The commission started ratifying the document on December 24, 2010. It reached the parliament on December 8.
