Transfer of command of military operations in Libya from the coalition forces to NATO will happen on Thursday morning, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to Agence France Presse.
The decision to transfer the operation to the NATO leadership was taken on Sunday night by the NATO Council, when ambassadors of the 28 member-states of the military-political bloc met. Earlier, it was planned that the transition should take two to three days.
