On Wednesday the Federation Council ratified a set of agreements on the Customs Union, including documents on violation of customs law, importation of goods by individuals and peculiarities of passenger carriages, RIA Novosti reports.
The agreement on the specifics of penalties for violation of customs law establishes the investigation of crimes committed on the territories of several member-states of the CU.
The agreement on importing and exporting goods by individuals for private use through the customs of the CU was also ratified. 1,500 euros or a cargo of 50 kg is duty free. The agreement includes a list of goods which are forbidden for import and export.
Furthermore, the Federation Council ratified the agreement on peculiarities of using international passenger carriage vehicles.
