The situation in the Caucasus region is stable. However, frequent shoot-outs on the Azeri-Armenian border raise our concern, the head of Caucasian department of the Ministry for foreign affairs of Russia, Andrey Kelin, told the Voice of Russia.The Ministry points out that today the situation in the region is better than it was in the past and is generally stable.
