Briefly from South Ossetia

Three days the capital of South Ossetia Tskhinvali remained without water supply. On March 26 the slide that came down near the village Vanel damaged the  water supply system "Edis - Tskhinvali." The repair work were carried out without breaks due to the high scale of damage.

On March 29  for more than 17 hours mobile communication did not work in South Ossetia. According to official information, during the drilling operations in the Roksky tunnel a fiber optic cable was damaged. Cellular communication in the republic is provided by a joint Russian-South Ossetian company ZAO Ostelekom- a subsidiary of Megafon.

In Tskhinvali, on March 30 an agreement was signed between Customs and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic. Experts assert that this agreement should make easier for local businessmen the procedure of import  into South Ossetia.

This week in Tsinkhivali should be held the constituent congress of the Komsomol organization. Local law for the establishment of social organization says that it should have at least 300 people. South Ossetian leaders of the Communist Party noted the increased interest of young people to communist ideas.

Spring Break in South Ossetia will be reduced by two days. This year, it will last from March 31 to April 4. The leaders of the republican Ministry of Education explained the reduction in vacation time by winter quarantine.
