Sweden has opened an embassy in Tbilisi. Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt and Georgian diplomats took part in the opening, Trend reports.
Carl Bildt expressed hope that the embassy will contribute to improving ties between Sweden and Georgia. He said that Georgia is developing fast, in terms of democracy, the economy and territorial unity, to enter the European Union. Sweden is ready to assist it in this, he said.
