The boarder commander general, Zolfakari said that in the coming years Iran will create new air bases in the border areas of the country, Iran News reports.
According to the commander, the construction of the air bases will be accomplished during 2011-2015.
General Zolfakari reported that the budget for the new 1390 year (21.03.11-20.03.12) will allocat about $ 85 million for strengthening the borders, purchasing the machinery and equipment for border guards and construction of infrastructure facilities at the borders of the country.
