A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) says that the results of early Kazakh elections on Sunday reflect the people’s will, head of the delegation Yulia Levochkina said in Astana, RIA Novosti reports.
The delegation expressed concern with the inequality of electoral conditions and calls to boycott the elections coming from a set of political powers.
Levochkina said that Kazakhstan has made progress in the electoralnprocess but there is still need for more improvement.
She emphasized that PACE is ready to provide support for development of political culture in Kazakhstan., although Kazakhstan is not a member of the Council of Europe.
