The Chechen parliament will consider Odes Baysultanov, candidate for the post of prime minister of the republic, introduced by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, today. Baysultanov was the premier before the resignation of the cabinet, RIA Novosti reports.
The Chechen cabinet resigned after Kadyrov’s re-election as leader of the republic on Tuesday.
Kadyrov held the first government session after the inauguration on Wednesday. He plans minor structural and staff changes. Kadyrov praised the work of the old government. He underlined achievements in social and economic development. Federal structures and citizens are satisfied with the executive authorities, but there are new goals to acheive, Kadyrov concluded.
