Baku has opened a phototography exhibition to mark the anniversary of Russian-Azerbaijani diplomatic ties, Trend reports.
It was entitled “Russian-Azerbaijani cultural ties in photographs of ITAR-TASS and AzerTAG”.
The exhibition was organized at the Russian Information-Cultural Center. Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said that the two countries started diplomatic relations 19 years ago. They are based on respect for each other’s sovereignty and national interests.
Editor-in-Chief of AzerTAG Yashar Guluzade said that Russian-Azerbaijani relations have always been a success in all spheres, especially in culture.
Members of the Azerbaijani parliament, leaders of the Russian community in Azerbaijan, MPs Mikhail Zabelin and Ganir Pashayev and Azerbaijani public figures attended the opening.
