Turkey contributes to stabilization of Arab world

Turkey is monitoring the events in the Arab world and its people who demand reforms. Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu is making visits to contribute to stability in the region, TRT reports.


Davutoglu visited Bahrain, where the situation has been tense for two months. He met King Hamad bin Isa Khalifa. The King praised Turkey’s foreign policy and noted its support for peace.


Davutoglu and his counterpart from Bahrain organized a press conference. The Turkish minister underlined that his country pays great attention to the territorial unity, sovereignty and prosperity of Bahrain.


The minister said that Turkey will support reforms in Bahrain. Davutoglu will visit Syria and meet its president, Bashar Al-Assad, and the Syrian minister for foreign affairs.
