CIS foreign ministers to meet in Kiev

Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian will visit Kiev on April 8 to take part in the CIS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Panorama.am reports.

Sides will consider documents on the strategy of economic development until 2020.
Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said that they will view projects of the air patrol treaty of the CIS members, an agreement on common accounting of foreigners on the territory of CIS states and activities on protection of intellectual property.

Lukashevich said that they will consider the establishment of a council on cooperation in fundamental science, concept of developing education in culture and art and a list of main culture events until 2015.

Participants of the meeting will discuss concept and organization issues, including preparation for the councils of heads of states and governments of the CIS.

Ministers will work on projects for the 70th anniversaries of the start of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 in June and the 20th anniversary of the CIS in December.
