Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and PACE President meet

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mamedyarov, on Thursday received the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Movlud Cavusoglu, the MFA press service of the country told Trend.

According to Mamedyarov, Azerbaijan's relations with the PACE cover many areas and provide useful results. According to him, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be resolved only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Mamedyarov welcomed plans to restore the sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh by the PACE Bureau. According to him, Azerbaijan fully supports this initiative and considers it important to continue the efforts of the PACE in this direction.

Cavusoglu, expressed satisfaction with the invitation to take part in the World Forum on intercultural dialogue in Baku. According to him, such activities play an important role in the fight against growing racism.
