The Armenian Finances Ministry sold 1358.5 grams of pure silver for 460,000 drams in 2010, News.am cites the ministry as saying.
219.1 kg out of 547 kg of pure silver have been sold so far, which means that the ministry has sold 40% of its silver reserves.
The state reserves received 6035 gold (27.2 kg) and 64 silver (6.1 kg) products within 10 operations in 2010. All the operations were confiscation, heritage or presents.
According to statistics on January 1, 2011, Armenia has 14.1 kg of pure gold worth 227.2 million drams, silver worth 6 million drams and silver alloys and palladium worth 8.7 million drams.
