An earthquake with a magnitude of 2-3 points on the Richter scale has been registered in Dagestan this morning, the press-service of the republic's office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told Interfax.
The seismology survey of the Russian Academy of Sciences registered the earthquake at 8.00 (Moscow time). Another earthquake occurred 50 minutes later. The quake center was 2 km from the coast of the Caspian Sea.
There are no injuries or damage.
