Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully cooperating in the energy sector, Azeri minister for manufacturing and energy Natig Aliev announced at the 13th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul, reports vesti.az. He said negotiations on gas between Azerbaijan and Turkey
have been concluded, and a corresponding agreement would soon be signed.
"Azerbaijani companies have raised their investment in the Turkish economy, with more than five hundred investing in various spheres. The Azaerbaijani State Oil Company, having secured 51% of the shares in the Turkish oil technology giant Petkim, is continuing to invest in the company and plans to invest an additional 3-5 billion dollars", Aliev said.
