Armenian attaches importance to the deepening of relations with Britain and is making efforts in this direction, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at a meeting on Tuesday with the UK Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Brian Fall, Novosti Armenia reports, citing the press service of the president.
During the meeting the President expressed hope that Fall's visit of will be useful in terms of bilateral Armenian-British relations, allowing them to get acquainted with the general picture of regional issues and to identify the dynamics of development.
Sargsyan recalled his meeting last year with Queen Elizabeth II in London and with the UK Deputy Prime Minister in Astana, noting the importance of enhancing mutual visits and political dialogue at a high level in order to develop cooperation.
