New border crossing point between Iran and Turkey opens today

The opening ceremony of the new border crossing between Iran and Turkey will take place tomorrow. It will be attended by Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Foreign Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, as well as the Turkish state minister Cevdet Yilmaz and Khayat Iazidzhi, Armenia Today reports.

Checkpoint Kapiköy will operate on the border between the Iranian province of Eastern Azerbaijan and the Turkish province of Van.
