“Political and economic ties between Iran and Azerbaijan and Turkey are at a high level and will improve in the future," said Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Urmie, Trend reports, citing the Iranian state news agency IRNA.
A meeting of the foreign ministers of the three countries - Elmar Mamedyarov , Ahmet Davutoglu and Ali Akbar Salehi - will take place on Saturday in the Iranian city of Urmia. The ministers will sign a memorandum on cooperation in customs matters, as well as take part in the opening of new border crossing point between Iran and Turkey.
