The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group left the capital of Azerbaijan today after completing their meetings in Baku and Yerevan. French Co-chair Bernard Fassier told journalists in Baku airport that the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are preparing a meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“But we do not want this to be the usual formal meetings. There were several constructive meetings in Russia . And we are supporters of these meetings, because it is only through negotiations that the sides can find a common position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. But it is not our responsibility to determine the date of the meeting. We will arrange a meeting as soon as they will schedule the time," Fassier said.
According to ANS TV, the Russian co-chair of the Minsk Group, Igor Popov, said that a meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia is expected in June or July.
