Over 20 assailants who attacked Nalchik in October 2005 have declared a hunger strike, after their TVs and refrigerators were taken away, RIA Novosti cites a participant of the process in the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria.
12 people and 35 police officers were killed in the attack in Nalchik on October 13-14, 2005. 95 attackers were killed.
One of the accused is Azamat Akhkubekov, who read out the complaints of the 24 defendants who have declared a hunger strike.
