All conflicts in the South Caucasus should be settled peacefully, Georgian Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya said at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart, Seyran Oganyan, News Armenia reports.
Akhalaya underlined that the visit of Oganyan is a result of efficient and close bilateral cooperation between the two states in defence.
Akhalaya said that his country is interested in Georgian military reforms.
The two ministers had a closed-door meeting for one hour.
Oganyan said that it is the first visit of the Georgian minister to Yerevan. They discussed peacekeeping operations, military education and official visits.
