Azerbaijani, Romanian presidents sign strategic partnership plan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Romanian President Traian Basescu have had a closed-door meeting, Trend reports.


They underlined that their bilateral ties are successful in political, economic, energy and humanitarian spheres.


They exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.


The two presidents signed a joint action plan for realization of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania.


Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov and Romanian Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Ion Ariton signed an agreement on cooperation between the ministries.


Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his Romanian counterpart Doru Costea have signed a cooperation protocol.
