President of Armenia discusses inter-regional development with Russia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin in Yerevan to attend the first Armenian-Russian inter-regional conference.

Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to inter-regional cooperation with Russia. The president stressed the importance of the conference, expressing the hope that the visit of Minister Viktor Basargin and the conference will become a serious impetus to the development of relations between the two countries.

Basargin also noted the importance of inter-regional cooperation for the deepening and strengthening of the strategic relationship between the two countries.
