Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has proposed cancelling the deal on transit of Russian military cargo and personell through Georgia, signed on March 31, 2006, Trend reports.
The deal expired and there is no need to extend it. The issue will be considered by the parliament this week. The document was ratified in April 2006.
