The head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov said today that he has no information confirming the elimination of the leader of the North Caucasian militant Doku Umarov, RIA Novosti reported.
Earlier, a message appeared that Umarov could be among 19 militants killed in a raid on March 28 near the village of Verkhny Alkun (Sunzha district) in Ingushetia. For identification the dead bodies were sent to the expertise.
