Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will visit the Vatican on
Friday to meet with Pope Benedict XVI, Interfax reports, citing the
republic's administration.
Saakashvili will also meet Vatican State Secretary Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone.
This is the first meeting between the heads of Georgia and the Vatican.
