An armed group have attacked police in the village of Hasanabad five kilometers from the city of Sanandaj in the Kurdistan province of Ira, Trend reports, with reference to the Iranian news agency MEHR.
Several terrorist attacks have taken place in Kurdistan over the past few weeks. On April 2 a border post in the town of Marivan was attacked, resulting in the deaths of four and injuries to five people. On April 4 the Iranian branch of PJAK claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.
