Specialists have started reconstruction of the TV tower in Vladikavkaz that bent under heavy snow, RIA Novosti cites a spokesman of the Alania state TV channel.
The tower is being reconstructed by a brigade of Radiostroy which arrived in North Ossetia from Ulan-Ude. Specialists were preparing for work in the previous two days. The tower bent at an altitude of 100 meters.
There will be no evacuations. The tower will be reconstructed early next week.
North Ossetia experienced wet snow, which covered the TV tower, bending it. People were evacuated from nearby houses, however broadcasting was not stopped. A mobile TV station was used for news broadcasts. Specialists said on April 14 that the tower will not fall over.
