The old Georgian telephone codes of district centers will only stay in force until the end of today, Business Georgia reports.
The new code for Tbilisi will switch from 22 to 32, Batumi – from 88222 to 422, Kutaisi – from 231 to 431, Rustavi – from 24 to 34.
Other new codes are Zestafoni - 492, Gori - 370, Mestia - 410, Zugdidi - 415, Lanchkhuti - 494, Kaspi - 371, Chokhatauri - 419, Telavi - 350, Mtskhet - 373, Ozurgeti - 496, Samtredia - 411, Sachkhere - 435, Senaki - 413, Tkibuli - 497, Signakhi – 355 and Lagodekhi – 354.
The process of code changing started in March 2011.
