The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today had an opportunity to personally make sure that the security of Abkhazia is sufficiently provided for. The minister made a sea voyage on a border control boat of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Abkhazia, ITAR-TASS reports.
"I would like to emphasize the close cooperation with Sukhumi on international affairs,” Lavrov said today at the talks. "The Geneva discussions have become a stable framework,” the Russian Foreign Minister continued. “Abkhazia participates in them on an equal basis." According to Lavrov, all this reflects the fact that "the most difficult partners are beginning to recognize reality."
