The first meeting of the Council under the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District was held today in Yessentuki. It was attended by the head of the regions within the NCFD, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Sergey Vereshchagin, and heads of local law enforcement agencies.
Alexander Khloponin noted that "the Council can and should become an important link in the coordination of all levels of government in the North Caucasus."
One of the key events in this area is the implementation of the Action Plan of the Strategy of Socio-economic Development of the NCFD until 2025. The Council will be the body through which the Strategy will be implemented.
