An emergency response organization for the Caspian Sea will be established in Kazakhstan, IA Novosti-Kazakhstan reports.
According to the national strategy on prevention of oil spills by enterprises, mineral developers and transport companies of the Kazakh Caspian sector, Kazakhstan has improved the facilities and means for emergency responses on oil spills.
The emergency situations ministry sent a suggestion on establishing a special sea detachment to the Republican budgetary committee, however, it wasn’t approved.
